Historical information

Certificate recording that the MMTB had entered a decorated float for the Melbourne Moomba Festival in 1963 and that it had been viewed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness, Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. Signed by the Lord Mayor, M A Nathan, and the Chairman. It has the crest of the City and a Moomba red embossed seal. Image of the float taken from the 1963 Annual Report of the MMTB.
