Photograph shows a rear view of X1 class tram No. 467 southbound turning from Irving St into Nicholson St, operating a service to the Williamstown Rd and Somerville Rd terminus.The destination blind shows 'Williamstown Rd' and many passengers are aboard. A number of shops and motor cars can be seen either side of the double tracks. This photograph was taken about six weeks before all three Footscray lines were closed on 10 March 1962.
