Set of 6 letters, between Mr Strickland Chief Engineer MMTB and Mr P J Pringle of ESCo Ballarat re meeting with each other, regarding grinding of rails, Berlin drum brakes, rail corrugations, wheel flanges, the Pontelac Tramway Rail grinder of Birmingham, wheel profiles, with reference to a report in the Electric Railway & Tramway Journal, flat or coned treads, and wheel and rail wear.

Significance

Yields information about discussions between MMTB and ESCo re wheels and shows the method of communications in mid 1928.
