Set of 2 colour photographs by Norm Cross, of Z1 at Preston Workshops prior to being formally numbered. The number 1 is shown in the route number box. The tram was delivered to Preston Workshops in Dec. 1974 and entered service in May 1975. Photos not dated. In the background are trams 995 or 895 and W2 560.
