The solutions, detailed in their chemical composition, were used in nursing practice for wound antiseptic, cleaning and management. Solutions noted are Biniodide, Boracic, and Concentrated Saline. Nurses were expected to know how to prepare these solutions to the right concentrations. Eg Concentrated Saline Zi of salt to Zi of water. Simmer for 30 minutes and strain through cotton wool.
