Historical information
The Bendigo Advertiser building was destroyed by fire on the 29th of July 1962. The Riverina Herald printed the next six additions of the paper in Echuca. The Hearld-Sun then provided printing and staff facilities in Melbourne. Staff also occupied a disused garage in Pall Mall. Rebuilding was completed in February 1963. Bendigo Advertiser remained in this location until 2005.

An eight-page broadsheet supplement in The Bendigo Advertiser dated Saturday, February 16, 1963, commemorating the completion of the re-building of its premises after the fire on July 29, 1962. Included are stories and photographs of the damage to the old building and the inside and outside of the new building. there are advertisements from the numerous local contractors who were involved with the re-construction.
