A report at the end of one year's study at Perkins School for the Blind in Boston, Massachusetts. It covers the expectations raised by the story of Helen Keller, classification of students, the need for representation and work on communication techniques, and observations made on tours of various educational institutions in the USA and Holland. Collected by C.H. Nipper during his writing of 'The Past and the Present 1866-1971' (a history of the RVIB).
