The flag is of the National Liberation Front or Viet Cong. It was adopted in 1960 and was a variation of the North Vietnamese flag. In 1975, it became the flag of the provisional government of the Republic of South Vietnam.
Physical description
The top half of the flag is red and the bottom half is blue. In the centre is a yellow 5-pointed star.
