1 - tram 42 to Mt Pleasant, with a lady with a pram walking over to the tram. In the background is Dinons Butcher, Didcot & Widmer, BFC Loans and Suttons.
2 - tram 39 to Gardens via Sturt St West, with the Caltex service station, Centenary Hotel (Peel St), Gullans newsagency (Listener In magazine) and E Leitch & Co.

Significance

Yields information about tram operations on the Gardens via Sturt St West/Mt Pleasant line in Bridge St shortly before closure of the route.
