Official M&MTB photograph showing F class 47 on an outside road at Malvern Depot in 1925 with original destination box, trolley pole raised and all canvas blinds up. Built for the Prahran and Malvern Tramways Trust by Duncan and Fraser, Adelaide in 1912, it was originally built as a summer car with five doorways each side and a centre aisle. In 1923 it was rebuilt by closing the centre doorways and creating an enclosed saloon, as seen in this photograph.
