Note or letter dated 10-10-49, from a Mr Russell to Mr Thomas regarding the installation of tail lights to trams and the annual cost of running these. Suggests using the compressor circuit for this instead. Has a sketch showing the proposed wiring diagram including a battery, which, when the compressor was running would be sufficient to charge the battery. See also item 10046 for a drawing showing this.
