Sister Norma Barnett (1932-2002) moved from Richmond to Port Melbourne in 1953 to work for the Port Melbourne City Mission at Jubilee Hall. She was a counsellor and religious teacher at Graham St and Nott St primary schools and a deaconess at the Baptist church. She retired in 1988 but remained involved in voluntary community work.
