Set of 3 photos by Norm Cross of the trams at the temporary Essendon Airport terminus. The terminus was changed from the one within the Essendon Airport grounds to the one alongside the Tullamarine freeway in Oct. 1976 prior to be extended to Airport West in 1992. See item 6162 for other photos.
photos 1 and 2 - Tram W5 793 at the new terminus - has side adverts for Park Drive cigarettes, RESI and Le Fag cigarettes.
3 - SW6 tram - photo taken from the overbridge showing the then Tullamarine Freeway.
