The 11th AGM of the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV) was held at the College of Nursing on the 14th of August, 1979. In this photo, East Bentleigh Auxhiliary Club group President, Dot Mortensen, presents group member, Cecily Oaten, with the Mollie Riches Trophy. Standing behind them is Dr Les Koadlow AO (1920-2006). A cropped version of this photo appears on page 3 of the Vol 14, September 1979 issue of RAAV's News Review. Along with another photo (Item number 48), it accompanies a report on the 11th Annual General Meeting. This photo is captioned: "Mrs. Cecily Oaten of East Bentleigh Auxhiliary Club receiving the Mollie Riches Trophy from the group president Mrs Dot Mortensen. Dr Les Koadlow looks on approvingly.”
