In 1980, a fundraising Gala Night was held in aid of the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV). In this photo, Professor Barry Preston and his wife, Kay Preston, three unidentified models, and the event’s MC, Pete Smith, pose for a photo around a large model of a Malaysian Airlines aeroplane. Please note that, television announcer/radio broadcaster, Pete Smith, has been incorrectly identified as "Mike Fillips" in the inscription.
