On Thursday the 2nd of December 1976, the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria held a Wine Tasting and Smorgasboard fundraising event at the Green Room Club in Albert Park. It was attended by around 120 members and friends. In this photo, seated guests are watching as the raffle being drawn (off camera). The photo appears on page 8 of the Vol 3, December 1976 edition of the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria's quarterly newsletter, News Review. The photo accompanies a brief article titled, "Wine Tasting and Smorgasboard". It is captioned: "A happy group of members and guests watch as the raffle is drawn. Photo: Ben Baxter." Beneath the article and photos is some information about the Photographer: "Ben Baxter is R.A.A.V.'s official Photographer and we are indeed fortunate to have obtained his expertise on a voluntary basis.
