On the 2nd of March 1995, the Centre for Rheumatic Diseases was officially opened at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. The Centre was a joint project between the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria, the University of Melbourne, and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In this photo, Bill Dix presents a representative of pharmaceutical company, Rhône Poulenc Rorer, with a plaque for their support of people with arthritis while Dr Leslie Koadlow looks on.
