Historical information

During National Arthritis Week in 1996, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV), incorporating Osteoporosis Victoria, held a "Making Life Easier Expo" at its headquarters in Elsternwick. In attendence was the Minister for Health, Victoria, the Honourable Rob Knowles. In this photo, AFV President, Bruce Dyson addresses the attendees. Seated behind him are the Honourable Rob Knowles, Minister for Health, Victoria, and some members of the Joint Action Group (JAG). According to a brief article which appears on page 2 of the Vol 9 No 2, Winter 1996 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update, the Minister also helped to launch a video on the day, titled "More Exercise Beats Arthritis".
