Historical information
The 1998 National Arthritis Week (NAW) was launched by Ita Buttrose - journalist, editor, and spokesperson for the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV), now known as Arthritis Victoria (AV). Various sportspersons were also at the launch to help spread the message about exercise and better health outcomes. In this photo, Ita Buttrose poses for a photo with Co-Captain of the St Kilda Football Team, Nathan Bourke, and Carlton Football Club player (and later, Victorian National Party politician), Peter Hall.
