In 1989, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) held an AGM for its Malvern Opportunity Shop. During the proceedings, members took some time to celebrate the oop shop's 10th birthday. In this photo, members take a group photo to mark the occasion. Elva Renfrew is holding up a large certificate, while an unidentified woman is cutting the cake. Bob Glasson and Laurie Griffiths also appear in this photo. A similar photo appears on page 5 of the Vol 2 No 4, November 1989 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. It accompanies a brief article titled, "Opportunity Shop Turns Ten". The photo is captioned: "The Opportunity Shop team celebrate 10 years at a special party to recognise their achievements."
