Around March to April 1994, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) opened a second oppportunity shop in Moonee Ponds. This photo depicts the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's "Move it or Lose it" A-frame sandwich board on the footpath at the entrance to Phillip's Arcade in Moonee Ponds.

Physical description

COL photo of the entrance to a shopping arcade in a suburban shopping strip. A sign above the arcade entrance says, "PHILLIP'S ARCADE" (partially obscured). At the entrance to the arcade, there is an A-frame sandwich board which contains the text, "EXPERT JEWELLERY SOLDERS WATCH BATTERIES AVAILABLE". On the footpath outside of the arcade entrance, there is another A-frame sandwich board. It contains the text, "Move it or Lose it", followed by a logo. Two women are walking across the arcade entrance in opposite directions; one of them is pushing a pram with a young child in it.
