In preparation for the construction of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's new building at 263-265 Kooyong Rd, Elsternwick, an event was held on the 8th of December, 1993, to commemorate the pegging of the site. In this photo, guests watch the proceedings. In the centre, wearing a red jacket, is Heather Rose, (Board Member). To the right of the frame, at the back, are Shirley Caulfield (AFV CEO), Bill Dix (Chairman of the Appeals Committee), Cr Nicholas Gold (Mayor of Caulfied), and John Sullivan (Manager of Trusts, Perpetual Trustees). Standing on the right edge of the frame, facing the group (partially obscured), is Alam Sime (Chairman of the Fundraising Committee).
