Behind them is a large freestanding 'ACTIVE FOR LIFE' banner. The banner contains the Active for Life logo, as well as the names and logos for Arthritis Victoria and VicHealth. A sub-heading says "JUST FIND 30 MINUTES A DAY". On the wall behind them, there is a display board with a poster depicting an image of media personality, Ita Buttrose.

Historical information

In the late 1990s, ‘Active for Life' partnerships (funded by VicHealth - the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation) included a partnership between the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria and the Victorian Croquet Association.  In this photo, Shirley Hallinan from the Victorian Croquet Association poses for a photo with Domenic Trimboli, Arthritis Victoria's Exercise Facilitator, at AFV's headquarters in Elsternwick. The Active For Life banner behind them contains the sub-heading "JUST FIND 30 MINUTES A DAY". A similar photo appears on page 17 of the Vol 11 Issue 4, Summer 1998 edition of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update. In the published photo, Shirley Hallinan appears with Margaret Scott from Arthritis Victoria.
