On the 20th of March, 1982, the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV) took part in the Kew Festival parade. This photo depicts two young boys posing for a photo with the RAAV's banner, which was to be used in the parade. This photo appeared in the June 1982 edition of the quarterly newsletter of the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV), News Review.
Physical description
Black and white photo of two boys each holding up a wooden pole onto which a large banner is attached. They are in a carpark, with some houses, trees, and multistorey buildings evident in the background. Both boys are wearing a t-shirt with the text, "I FIGHT ARTHRITIS", and shorts. The text on the banner says, "THE RHEUMATISM & ARTHRITIS ASSCN OF VIC". There are several cars parked in the car park, including two vintage cars to the right of the frame. A few people are looking at the vintage cars.
