On Saturday 31st March 1990, a reunion of former pupils, staff and teachers who were at the school between 1935 and 1945 was held. A formal dinner was later recorded that night from which this recording is made. Prior to the event, interviews with various people were made to help with publicity, and some of these revealed the attitudes towards blindness and visual impairment at that time.
