Booklet outlining the "Malvern Electric Tramways Club - Rules and Constitution", dated 27/2/1941. Note on page 3, that the club was to consist and limited MMTB male employees. One its aims was to promote and maintain a sick, accident and funeral fund. Rule 50 amended by another paste in the section on the inside of the rear page. President R Savage, Secretary G Nixon.

Significance

Demonstrates sickness benefit schemes before the Medicare and general coverage by the employer. Ballarat Employees had a similar scheme.
