Russell, the MMTB's first Publicity Officer. Has an introduction, a preface that gives a brief history of the tramway system in Melbourne, buildings and points on interest in Melbourne and how to get there, with sketches by Clive Fink. Significance

Demonstrates the work of the MMTB in originally publishing a book for visitors to Melbourne and then republishing it in 1967.
