As part of the 1992 National Arthritis Week events, there was a Joint Walk through the Melbourne Royal Botanic Gardens. Following the walk, members of the Joint Action Group (JAG) conducted an exercise demonstration at the National Herbarium hall in the Botanic Gardens. This photo appears on page 4 of the Vol 5 No 2, Winter 1992 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update under the heading, "Arthritis Week success". It is captioned: "Above, and below right, the "Joint Action" team delighted the audience at the National Herbarium following the city Joint Walk in the Botanic Gardens."

On the 10th of October, 2002, Arthritis Victoria (AV) held a Community Seminar and a Health Professionals Seminar in Orbost (East Gippsland) as part of its Rural and Regional Education (RARE) Program. Both seminars were presented by Nurse Denise Philpott. On the following day, the 11th of October, Nurse Philpott presented a donation of books from Arthritis Victoria to the Orbost Library. This photo depicts Pauline McTaggart accepting the donation on behalf of the Orbost Library.

From the 12th to 13th of July 2002, Arthritis Victoria (AV) held a Health Professionals and Consumers Seminar and a Health Professionals' Dinner in Robinvale (north western Victoria) as part of its Rural And Regional Education (RARE) Program. The keynote speaker was Rheumatologist, Dr Mano Thevathasan (Victorian President, Australian Rheumatology Association). In the mid 1990s, Australian actor, Val Jellay, was the special guest at an Arthritis Foundation of Victoria Volunteers' Luncheon. Promoting her autobiography, Stagestruck, at the luncheon, the actor donated any profits made from the sale of her book at the event to the Foundation.
