Alice Anderson was Australia’s first female garage proprietor when she opened her all-female business in Cotham Road (Kew, Victoria) in 1917. Following the closure of the garage, it was acquired by Bib Stillwell. Later it was purchased by Trinity Grammar School who are the current owners.
