Uniform - Shirt, US Army

Historical information

Early in the Vietnam war, US troops wore this heavy cotton OG-107 utility shirt. Later, the Tropical Combat Uniform (TCU) made of a lighter poplin fabric and featuring angled pockets, became standard, although the OG-107 remained in use.

Physical description

Olive drab long sleeved shirt with embroidery on the collar peaks. Button front with square, buttoned flap chest pockets. A cloth name is stitched above the right-hand pocket.
