Photograph of of the front of the SEC Wendouree Parade tram depot, c1937, following the completion of the reconstruction work. Depot has not been fitted with doors, and has single truck trams 17, 27, 18, and 22 in front. Part of the depot offices are on the right side of the photo.

Significance

Yields information about the front of the SEC depot Ballarat following its refurbishment and set up to show off four trams, one on each track and prior to the installation of doors.

Physical description

540 - Black and white photograph of the front of the SEC Wendouree Parade tram depot, late 1930's or early 1940's. Depot has not been fitted with doors, and has single truck trams 17, 27, 18, and 22 in front. (Destination Eaglehawk p10 - 22 arriving in 1937, scrapped 1945). Pre pacific war (1942) photo - no white strips on bumpers.
