Historical information

'Koch's Pioneer Gold Mine was situated on the centre main line of reef, Garden Gully, between the Cornish United Mine and Windmill Hill. The Mine was named after Harry Koch, who pursued reefing here with great success in years gone by. The length of the lease is 400 yards...the main shaft has now achieved a depth of 1450 ft.' Buff colour wax paper, hand drawn plan. Written on top of plan in bold black text: 'Koch's Pioneer Mine'. On top right hand side, reference showing geological features on plan.
