National Trust - preserving verandahs of significance
Three-page typed report by Peter Staughton, dated 23 November 1967, on typing paper; following his visit on 7-8 July 1967, to the city to survey the cast-iron verandahs within the city. His report provides his opinion "that Bendigo is richly endowed with a number of excellent examples of cast-iron verandahs". The report highlights several properties with cast-iron features worthy of retention.
