historic significant drinking fountains
National Trust - letter dated 25 June 1972 from National Trust (Central Victorian Branch) requesting to "receive into storage the remains of two early drinking fountains:
1) outside the Y.M.C.A. Lyttleton Terrace,
2) at the corner of High and Laurel Streets, Golden Square
Both fountains have been vandalised but the National Trust is anxious to preserve the remaining pieces".
