The colour photograph of Bay Street, Port Melbourne shows a section of the from Little Bay to Liardet Streets. In the foreground is the former National Bank currently occupied by 'Shoes & the City'. In 1890 the building on the opposite side of Little Bay Street, currently used by Biggin & Scott Estate Agents, was occupied William Ingles & Co, Auctioneers & Estate Agents. Later in the 19th Century it became the site of a Chinese Laundry.
