Historical information
In 1885 the Melbourne Hunt Club moved its operations from Caulfield to Deer Park. As part of this move the Hunt Club built the Hunt Club Hotel as a base for its members, The Hunt Club has been through many iterations since these early days and is currently operating as a community arts centre. This is a video recording of a guest speaker at the annual Sunshine and District Historical Society's Pioneers Dinner, Mrs Ivy Morton, discussing her experience as a former manager of the Melbourne Hunt Club.
