This item was worn by Reverend George Ashworth, Service No:O315515, who served as a Chaplain with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) at Base Squadron Ubon in Thailand and Vung Tau in Vietnam with RAAF Transport Flight Vietnam, 1965-66.

Physical description

Blue braided cord with tassels at ends used to tie clerical robes. The official colour for the Chaplain Corps is sometimes noted as blue representing the heavens.
