Standard item issued to Australian servicemen during the conflict in Vietnam.

Physical description

A khaki coloured short woollen jacket with long sleeves, two pleated chest pockets, button front with exposed top collar, epaulettes, and a waist-adjusting belt strap with metal buckle. Epaulettes have plastic buttons. Red patches are on either sleeve saying Royal Australia Regiment. The sleeves have cuffs and there are five (5) plastic buttons down the front. Inside the jacket are two deep pocket made from cotton.
