Set of 3 colour slides of tram tracks prior to reconstruction - all dated Feb. 1972
1 - trackwork at the intersection of Ballarat Road and Gordon St showing the old crossing for Ballarat Road trams
2 - tram W5 791 running a route 82 showing the tracks in Gordon St and their poor condition due to subsoil reaction. Passing the munitions works
3 - tram returning to Essendon Depot, near River St.

Significance

Yields information about the condition of Gordon St Maribyrnong prior to reconstruction during early1972.
