Historical information

No 1 Operational Support Unit RAAF Vietnam was an unofficial badge and could be purchased as some of the tailor shops on the base. Mainly used on flying suites, which were scrounged from various sources. Usually the only 1OSU personnel issued flying suits were the medical people doing dust off's.

Physical description

A round cloth patch with a blue border. Withing the blue border is yellow lettering. The centre has the number 1 (one) embroidered on it and overlayed that is a red kangaroo.
