Three newspaper articles from one page of the 'Bendigo Advertiser' article, 17th March , 1995, titled ' Survey reveals gold in hills'.
1. The Minister for Energy and Minerals, JIm Plowman, discussed the results of the $16.5 million survey conducted in north-west Victoria and eastern highlands. Mr. Plowman maintained that the '$11 million exploration drive launched by Bendigo Mining to find gold in the Bendigo goldfield would succeed'. He was visiting Bendigo to officially open the refurbished Central Deborah Gold Mine.
2 .'Country mining search sparks local confusion' : Jim Plowman refutes the claim by Ron Best (National Party MLC) that Bendigo will play a 'key role in the multi-million dollar search for gold in country Victoria.
3. 'Miners form alliance": discusses a meeting by miners to form a body which will represent their interests. Companies involved: Bendigo Mining NL, Heathcote Gold Joint Venture, International Mineral Resources NL, Alliance Gold Mining NL, Ranger Gold Pty Ltd., and Perseverance Mining Corporation.
