The photograph show VR class tram 52 and W2 class tram 284 in Elizabeth St just to the south of Collins St. Tram 52 is running a route 18 Brunswick service. This tram was an Essendon depot based car. Photo late 1960s.
Yields information about the use of VR 52 on Elizabeth St services rather than its usual use on route 82.
