Historical information
Photograph shows the outside of the newly completed Flinders Street Railway Station with pedestrians crossing the intersection and a cable tram in Flinders Street. It appears to have been enhanced by hand painting of some of the pedestrians. As the station was not completed until 1909 and opened in 1910, the handwritten date is inaccurate.
Significance
Yields information about first years of the Swanston Street and Flinders Street intersection after the completing of the new station building.
