'Bendigo Advertiser' article, 27th December, 1999, 'Historic event brought to life'. Article describes the re-enactment of the Red Ribbon Rebellion, sometimes known as the Red Ribbon Agitation. The miners in Sandhurst rebelled in 1853 against the license fee imposed by the Government.
