The photograph shows MMTB trams X1 466 and 467 standing at the terminus in Leeds St with the intersection of Irving St. Tram 466 has the destination of Williamstown Road. On the left hand side of the photo can be seen at least 5 uniformed employees chatting by the tram stop sign. In the background is Paul's Millinery, and Appleton & Wright Mens Wear. Photo late 1950s or early 1960s.
Significance
Yields information about the Footscray tram terminus and the way trams operated from Leeds St.
