Historical information

Shows the colour used on MMTB tramcars that had a brown paint applied to their interiors. The paint sample was obtained from a deteriorated can or container. Would have been a sample can supplied to the MMTB testing laboratory during 1952. The two pieces of paper were salvaged from the can.

Shows the colour of MMTB Brown that was applied to tramcars of the era.

Physical description

Fibre board with a sample of the paint painted onto it and recovered fragments that were around the small can of paint.
