Historical information

Set of six digital images from slides taken by George Stevens on 12/4/1971 of:
1 - Tram 676 on a special tour by the AETA on the West Coburg line
2 - Using the crossover in Dawson St with the brickworks chimneys in the background.
3 - Just past Moreland Road with a shopping centre in the background, Ampol service station and adverts for Corio Whiskey.
4 - At West Coburg terminus with Barry Waters Estate Agent, a fish & chip shop advertising Coca Cola and a news agent advertising The Age, Herald and Sporting Globe.
5 - Tram 787 (route 55, Domain Road) at Terminus. In the background are signs for Mr Chips, Seaford, Simpson. Note the Bundy clock. Tram 787 has adverts for ABC News channel 2, Bosch, and Frist soft drink.
6 - Passing under the Railway bridge at Royal Park.
