Summary
When Archibald Cloyd visited Hollywood as a consultant and expert on a Napoleon film and later went on location with the company in Arizona, the little man met his Waterloo. The black market activities of a gang of tyre thieves, an abandoned gold mine, a kidnapping, a determined widow named Hammer, an attractive young ranch owner, Archibald's own mysterious and resourceful male secretary, and a bizarre assortment of Western and Hollywood characters are all ingredients of a plot that involves Archibald in difficulties as tense as ever encountered by his famous prototype.
