Rose Series postcard No. 4721, Elizabeth Street Melbourne looking south from Bourke Street. There are four trams in the photo, one running a route 20. In the background are London stores, Wintner, Brashes, Flinders St station, and the State Savings Bank. Note the street lights on each corner. Photo mid to late 1930s. There are some people standing in the safety zone on the right hand side of the photograph.
