Sunshine Technical School opened in 1913 in Derby Road, Sunshine, and became a cornerstone of education for apprentices at the Sunshine Harvester Works. It later expanded to include girls’ education, evolved into Sunshine Technical College, and was eventually amalgamated into Sunshine College in 1991.
